Pride in Glasgow 2017

Saturday 19th August 2017 saw members of all three Armed Forces parade for the first time in uniform at Glasgow Pride. The annual parade sees over 5000 people parade through Glasgow City Centre whilst being watched by over 50,000 people and is the highlight of the Scottish LGBT calendar.

Army LGBT Forum Vice Chair, WO2 Dougie Graham ensured that the parade and those formed up for the march demonstrated not just an excellent level of professionalism but also a celebration the message of the Army, and our sister services, as being open to all and an inclusive and welcoming organisation.

Please find below a few photos from the day or visit the ‘Army in Scotland‘ Facebook page for more information and imagery.
